From 17th to 22nd February 2025, Msgr. Tep Chanpiseth, Bishop of Battambang Diocese together with Preah Vinay Sorn Rainsy Pok Pan, Vice President of Buddhist Branch, Sihanoukville University, Battambang Province, and Mr. Phum Chhon Tola, Director of Administration and Personnel Office invited to discuss cooperation with some institutions:
1. Kandy Kram University: Discusses curricula on peace, rural development, agricultural training, research skills, internship exchanges between students and other projects.
2. DAN (DHAN FOUNDATION): Discusses various curricula, training, leadership skills, etc.
In addition to the visit for cooperation, representatives of the Global Buddhist Branch were also honored to attend the inauguration ceremony of the magnificent temple in Wat Santepheap built by Japanese monks of the Niponshan sect. The event was held in collaboration with Caritas Cambodia, chaired by Msgr. Tep Chanpiseth and Dr. Phumi, who sponsored and facilitated this special visit.
