On the morning of January 1, 2025, the Parish of St. Mary, Mother of God (Tompong), held a Solemn Mass to celebrate the Parish and celebrate the New Year.
On that occasion, there was also a procession of statues of the Virgin Mary around the village and return to the Church to continue the Mass. At Mass, the Msgr. Tep Chanpiseth, the Bishop of Battambang Prefecture
instructed Christians to continue to pray together,change their minds, and keep the peace we have. After the Mass, there will be a performance of Khmer dance, photography and eating together to celebrate the New Year.
