On the morning of December 6, 2024, Karuna Battambang organized the celebration of the 26th Cambodia and the 42nd International Day of Persons with Disabilities under the theme: "Disability Environment in All Fields in the Age of Digital Revolution (December 3) ". At the invitation of Preah Yos Panha, Dr. Vy Sovichea, President of Sihanoukville Buddhist University, Battambang Province, Msgr. Tep Chanpiseth, the Bishop of Battambang Diocese and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karuna Battambang. Mr. Yos Yoeun, Chief of Rattanak Commune, Mr. Saroeun, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation of Battambang Province, Mr. Rotrigo Gobarbacilles, Program Coordinator of Karuna Battambang, and many people with disabilities participated. There was also a small distribution of gifts to people with disabilities who came to participate. This program is designed to promote people with disabilities to have the right to participate in all fields and encourage all people with disabilities to have hope in daily life.
