4th September 2024. The apostolic Nuncio-Archbishop Peter Brian Wells , accompanies by Msgr Enrique Figaredo sj, visited the Parish of Mary Mother of the church. The church was packed with people; Young and old to Show Love and apreciation to the Nuncio for this unforgettable visitation in Taom Community. The youth Community showcased thier talent in dancing the traditional Cambodian blessing dance. Msgr kike lead the Community in prayer and inspired the Community with his words of support and encouragement. He reminded the Community about the importance of praying together, and humbling oneself in the Service of one another. We can only have strong Community if it is built in Love and in faith. After the liturgy of the word, the Community were more inspired by the words of Archbishop Wells, reminding each and everyone of us to be a Channel of God’s Love to all.
The Community recieved 15 bicycles from a generous donor, and 35 food packages. The two Bishops Blessed the bicycles and Pray over the people using it.
As practice in Taom Community when guests comes, the three guests of honor were given a tree to plant with the communities. This is also in celebration of the season of creation from 1st Septemeber to 4th October 2024.
