The Catholic Church of Battambang, together with the Chief of Romchek 1 Village, organized a ceremony to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Funan Techo Canal on August 5, 2024, with the participation of priests, Mr. Yous Yoeun, Rattanak Sangkat Chief, Mr. Riel Sambo, Chief of Romchek Village. 1 and colleagues, as well as Christian brothers and sisters, staff of Battambang Community, NGO center and people in Romchek village participated with joy. There will also be bells and drums to celebrate.
