Green Dioceses Meeting on May 22, 2024
Topic: "Together We Answer the Call of the Pope Toward Ecological Conversion And Creater Care for Our Common Home by Strenghtening Our Green Dioceses" with more than 67 participants from organizations and communities in the diocese of Battambang. The program is organized by Karuna Battambang, JS Service Cambodia in collaboration with the Battambang Diocese in order to strengthen the Battambang Diocese, which is a green diocese and to encourage priests, brothers, sisters, youth, Centers leaders and organizations to work together. Which is more beneficial to the planet and contributes to the preservation of the environment. There was also a Po tree planting ceremony in front of the temple, with monks invited to clean the carpet and plant Po trees with the Bishop and the priest.
